inZOI features a dynamic weather system that mirrors real-world conditions and seasons. Each city in inZOI has its own unique climate, influencing gameplay elements such as clothing choices, health, and seasonal activities.

Seasonal Changes

Dowon

Dowon, based on Seoul, experiences four distinct seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. It is completed with temperature shifts and seasonal events that reflect urban Korean life. Winter can get dangerously cold, requiring warm clothing and careful management of your Zoi 's health.

Bliss Bay

Bliss Bay, based on SoCal, enjoys a mild, warm climate year-round, similar to Southern California. It rarely sees snow (San Diego's last measurable snowfall was back in 1967!), making shorts and light outfits practical most of the time.

Temperature Effects

Appropriate Clothing

If your Zoi is underdressed in cold weather or overdressed during hot weather, they risk falling ill. Prolonged exposure to extreme conditions can be fatal if not addressed quickly.

Clothing Presets

inZOI offers situational clothing presets that match each city's current season or typical weather, reducing the risk of weather-related health problems.

Manual Outfit Selection

Players can override these presets by manually choosing outfits, but doing so increases the chance of weather-related illnesses if the attire is unsuitable for current conditions.

City Edit Weather Controls

Temporary Weather Changes

City Edit mode allows you to temporarily alter the weather, like making it snow in Bliss Bay during summer, for complete creative freedom. However, these changes are not permanent and revert to the city's default seasonal climate over time.

Future Custom Weather Options

The development team is considering an option for permanent, customized weather settings if there's enough player interest.
